Welcome to PURPLE COFFEE 原宿, a delightful café nestled in the vibrant heart of Harajuku, Japan. Located at 1 Chome204 Axia原宿 on the first floor, this charming spot is a must-visit for coffee lovers and food enthusiasts alike.

As you step inside, you're instantly greeted by a cozy atmosphere that invites relaxation. With just five intimate tables, the café strikes the perfect balance between friendliness and privacy—ideal for a quiet escape from the bustling streets of Harajuku.

What's on the menu? You’re in for a treat! PURPLE COFFEE 原宿 is renowned for its mouthwatering offerings, especially the Greek Yogurt. The Special Mix (JP¥1,650), a customer favorite, is rich and creamy, topped with an abundance of fresh fruit, luscious comb honey, and their homemade granola—a perfect blend of textures and flavors that promises a satisfying experience.

Don't forget to check out the seasonal Mont Blanc Greek (JP¥1,800) that’s taking the café by storm. Released in September, this limited-time dessert combines the refreshing tang of Greek yogurt with smooth, decadent chestnut cream, creating an autumnal delight that's as unforgettable as it is delicious. It’s a seasonal gem you won’t want to miss!

If you’re a berry lover, indulge in the Berry Berry, featuring an exciting mix of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries paired with their signature granola. It's the kind of dish that feels both indulgent and wholesome!

But don’t just take our word for it—customers are raving about their experiences at PURPLE COFFEE. Tess, a first-time visitor, shared her surprise at how delicious the thick, creamy yogurt was, especially praising the two new autumn flavors. Meanwhile, Darrell Wilcock found this hidden gem off Takeshita Street to be the perfect spot to unwind while enjoying delicious coffee and donuts that are incredibly soft and perfectly crafted.

And speaking of donuts, Jia Jia Zhang couldn’t get enough of the unique flavors. From uji matcha to mascarpone, each donut is a testament to the quality of ingredients and creative flair that the cafe embodies. Sergio declared their pumpkin donut the best he’s ever had—high praise indeed!

While the coffee might be a work in progress according to some customers, the taste and experience you get from the delicious donuts and delightful yogurt are enough to make any visit worthwhile.

This was my first time trying Greek yoghurt in Tokyo and I was honestly so positively surprised! The yoghurt is thick, creamy, and absolutely delicious, just perfect. I had the chance to try the two new autumn flavors, the Mont Blanc chestnut and the Lotus cookie, and both were amazing in their own unique way. I was more than stuffed afterwards and left super happy! The shop has a really welcoming vibe, and the staff were kind and helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back to try even more flavors in the future. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something both tasty and a little special in Harajuku!

I went during the middle of the week and a camera crew came out. This place will be extremely popular soon so I felt happy that I was able to go without a line. It's a cozy cafe with 5 tables that are suitable for two people each. The donuts were great but the coffee needs some work and there was some food on the bench. The fact I was willing to ignore these issues means the donuts are that good! They are a perfect small snack and the cream for the prosciutto donut was evenly distributed. I would be willing to go back especially since it's a refuge from a major tourist destination!

Found a place just off Takeshita Street, at the time it was a quiet place to go to for coffee, relax. Coffee's where good, and everyone loved the donuts!! It was soft, and perfect. I recommend the delicious donuts.

A hidden gem right near Harajuku without all the chaotic foot traffic! The donuts are amazingly soft and fluffy. You can really taste the quality of ingredients and enjoy creative flavors. I tried the original, uji matcha, and marscapone. You can't go wrong with any of them. They're so light that you can easily put down 3 of them without feeling the usual sense of guilt and sugary high with regular donuts.

The best doughnut (or donut!) I’ve ever had in my life—hands down. Made with pumpkin and absolutely delicious! I went for the mascarpone cream one, but honestly, they all looked incredible. I can’t wait to go back and try more. This place is destined for fame—mark my words!

The coffee was good but I loved the donut! It was soft, and the filling was not overwhelming with perfect amount of sweetness. But it is on the smaller side so be aware of that. It paired really well with the coffee. I recommend if you want to try some delicious donuts and tasty coffee.

Very good yogurt! And the berries on top are so fresh. Also got a matcha latte and it was very tasty. A great place to duck into and get away from the crowds
